I grew up playing video games on my Commodore 64 computer. (Kids, ask your grandparents.) One of my favorite games that I played for hours and hours and hours, over and over and over, was Below The Root. Oh, wow -- that's incredibly awesome! I love finding and re-reading childhood favorites as an adult.

You know my mom went through a "D&D is satanic and evil" phase for a while (she mostly was over it by the time I was in high school), and made me get rid of some choose-your-own adventure type books that were role-playing themed. I've slowly been tracking them down as an adult, but there was one in particular I loved but have forgotten the name of. It was science fiction, space-mystery themed. Every once in a while, I'll do a Google search on the puzzles I can remember to try and see if I can find a clue.

I found book 2 several years ago (also at the Book Rack) so now I just need book 3. Most of my Choose Your Own books were official DnD books. I don't remember having any space ones but I'll keep an eye out.
