Yes you do need to remember this. **looks around** My house is a disaster. I have a lot of laundry in the dryer, one in the washer (for god only knows how long it's been there, at least 2 on the floor (spilling into the hall, one in a bucket to be folded, two in buckets folded to be put away, a kitchen floor COVERED in rice, a kitchen island I cannot see the top of through the mail and trash, two piles of recycling (that didn't go to the curb this morning) the vacuum sitting out to remind me to do it today, I won't even talk about the upstairs that I just don't admit right now is part of my house...AND my brother in law with his wife and kids come in to town in a few hours. What am I doing right now? Writing you while the Monkey sleeps on my chest.
Priorities...the monkey who wants to snuggle (or any of the other kids that want to snuggle) win out EVERY time. Do you think they will remember the messy house or that their Mommy snuggles then when ever they need/want it? I'm betting it's the second
You'd be impressed with me last night! ;) My house is trashed still (probably worse than anything you have going on there) and Todd and John left so I asked Josh what he wanted to do and he told me he wanted to cuddle on the couch.. So wrapped in his Kung Fu Panda blanket he and I "watched" well he watched I half slept.. Johnny Test for an hour. Was nice to just be and not do for a change.

Your BIL will understand you have kids to cuddle, and if he doesn't then maybe they don't need to come back?
