Some of you may remember the comedy of my husband and I discussing Gahndi. He was saying "GAndeee" one night (llongish "a",very long "e") and I had no clue who the hell he was talking about. (I say Gahhhndee).

Anyway, last night he referred to our son as "Too-tank-a-moon" in his car seat. I was all "...who?". Turns out he meant King Tut, which I ( Read more... )

Tootankamoon is possibly the best endearment I'v ever heard. I want you both to come over here and get Allen to pronounce all the stupid Australian place names.

This kinda stuff with you two makes me grin in a silly way.

"Too-tank-a-moon"

That's pretty much how I say it, too (I say "Toot-ank-a-moon"). I've never heard it pronounced any other way, come to think of it.

And that is quite possibly the coolest nickname for a kid I've ever heard. *g*
