I find that I often purchase or covet either aesthetically enticing or very neat, tidy, empty journals and other books. I think it's partially the potential which lies within each one that draws me to them, or the way they'd look in my room. But like you, I've never committed to writing consistently in any one of them. Mostly because they get found and read by someone. That kinda kills the mood. :-/
