Barely even October, not even halfway through spring, and the bushfires have begun already. I hope those fires get put out soon. I know it's been general 'AUGH TOASTY' season all over the world, if not 'AUGH HURRICANE' or 'AUGH DELUGE'.

The swing thing is pretty cute, actually. XD Mini!Skits! OH THE TERROR. Little kids can be awesome in their irrationality; that's why I like writing characters with little-kid mentalities.

Australia seriously needs to institute some hard arsed water restriction laws, because it's just not going to rain to save everything. Dad and I have been talking about it on and off, and he said when it all boils down to it, the pollies are still hoping it'll just rain and they won't have to make the hard decisions. You see so many people waste water watering their bloody grass and concrete driveways and whatnot, it's got to hit home at some point.

One of my uncles lost their bush home in Sydney in those bad fires a few years back. They had some horses which they got out, and they can claim insurance on the house, but I don't think they had it rebuilt.
