So I've just been watching "The Departed" on TV2, which is one of New Zealand's public television channels. In case you're unfamiliar with this movie, it has a lot of graphic violence and strong language. Hey, if the NZ Film Commission would sponsor (as in pay for) Peter Jackson's early spatter film, they must not be bothered by blood.

I guess movie enjoyment reaches across generational lines. I loved "The Departed," which I saw on the big screen. The language didn't bother me, but I'm surprised it was on T.V. Also loved "Pulp Fiction," another blood-and-guts saga, although I'm supposed to be a little old lady.
Nah, that's no fun.
