& it's Redunculous easy (well it involves curves but not alot)
Step one:
Layer > New Fill Layer > Gradient >
Black to whiteStyle: Linear
Angle: -111.04
Scale: 100
Set it to Saturation at 100%
Step two:
Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves:
Point 1:
I: 82
O: 70
Point 2:
I: 128
O: 124
Point 3:
I: 172
O: 191
Step three:
Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels:
0, 1.10, 255
Step four:
Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves:
Point 1:
I: 100
O: 131
Point 2:
I: 153
O: 190
Step five:
Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Brightness/Contrast:
Contrast: +12
Step six:
Take any light texture, i used this:
Made by
xsleepingswanx and set it to screen at 100%
Step seven:
Take this texture made by
elrawien
And set it to Multiply at 100%
And you're done!
Note: Judging by your base, you might want to duplicate it and set to screen until it's bright but not to bright.
Tip: When picking at light texture, make sure it doesn't take the eye off the actual icon.
xsleepingswanx has a great batch
of simple light textures, also a red light texture is always lovely but with B.W icons you should lower the opacity a tiny bit
so it's not too over powering.
