Casino Fun

Tonight Grace and I hit up the Isle of Capri casino for my first gambling experience. I vowed to only spend $20, and I immediately lost ten of it in the first 15 min. But then I discovered the Wheel of Fortune game :-) It was so much fun because the machine made lots of noise when you won, and it was fairly easy to win a few cents here and there

Your first gambling experience is a lot like mine. I put in a new ten dollar bill and it was gone in about three minutes. Then I put in a dollar in a .25 cent machine and made my ten dollars back, where I proceeded to quit for the evening. Well, that lasted until the next morning...I think ended up breaking even somewhere along the way.

And that Wheel of Fortune game is awesome; I got to spin only once though.

did someone tell you you looked 15??
my 1st experience was a/b the same, too...at the palace casino? really not a great one but i was with my dad and he stuck a 20 in this push button machine and i just pushed a button...and did not break even!
i left with a quarter! =)

Someone told me I looked 15 a little while ago. And I would have left with less if I hadn't started winning a little at the very end!

That's amazing that you were able to break even--only one time have I not lost everything I put into a slot machine. And I printed out the ticket out of pride. Mandalay Bay owes me $0.01, but I liked the ticket too much to cash it out. (Wouldn't that be a funny cash-out?)

You'll have to teach me how to play slots (all I know is that you "push the button"--but there are so many!). Until then, I just hang out at the blackjack tables.

I don't know if I have any skills; I think it was mostly beginner's luck at the wheel of fortune game. And i would really like to learn how to play the card games, so you'll have to teach me how to play those. :) We need to plan a tunica trip in the fall.
