But first -- my opinion on the episode.

Okay, I know a lot of people didn't like it.  But, don't hate me, I actually liked it.  I thought it was pretty good story wise.  And it was really really nice to see everybody in almost every scene.  So even though the episode was about Callie and her baby, it didn't feel like someone was left out.

Now, people singing during scenes was not all that bad.  All the singing was in Callie's coma-brain POV, so it's not like everyone burst out into a song in the 'real world.'  And the way they played it out was great too except for a few times where they over did it, for my tastes.  Like it was wonderful when they were singing while acting like how they would normally do when they're just delivering the lines.  But there were a few times that some of them got too......something.  I guess they got carried away with the singing.  LOL.  So over all, the singing scenes were great for me.  Except for the 'Trippin' On Sunshine' song/scene.  That was a bit too much for me with the dancing and all.

I thought the argument Mark and Arizona had was very real too.  Mark's first priory was Callie.  No doubt he loves his baby but if given the choice, he'd rather save his best friend.  I'm not saying it's right.  I don't know if you can actually say which is the right choice in this kind of situation.  But it makes sense.  Arizona's argument made sense too.  I liked that.

And, of course, MerDer were awesome!  My fave is probably the one in the on-call room where Derek was saying how he can't tell Mark how bad Callie's condition is neurologically and Mer was there telling him to get some sleep and cuddling!  Gah.  So much love for this ship.  The elevator scene could have gone better I think.  Like, I would have liked to see what prompted Mer to finally breakdown like that.  I know it was a bad day all around and she could have just finally broken down at that moment, I just feel like there should have been something before that.

Song wise, the best part for me was the last sequence -- where Callie was singing her heart out, willing herself to wake up.  It was very powerful.  That was awesome.

Okay.  I'm done.   Now, icons!  =D
