So, it's pretty much set that my brother and his family are moving out. I am not sure when, but they are really determined about it this time. I know we've had our problems, all of living together. Update
Now I never thought I would find myself saying this, but teaching is actually fun! The students are awesome and hilarious in their own little ways. Middle-schoolers especially. They can be annoying but mostly their just awkwardly adorable. So far things have been going well. Of course, I expect things to pick up and for me to start bitching ( Read more... ) -
Death
I haven't been on for a while...life having caught me up in a never-ending cycle of work and general business. Between work, my volunteering, and school, I've been stretched quite thin. However, I find myself suddenly slowing down--life having thrown me quite the curve ball ( Read more... ) -

It feels like ages since I last posted here---probably because it has been. Well, not really, but certainly seems like it. I've actually gotten pretty busy--for once. Life Sucks, Sometimes
I've been on a perpetual high since Saturday. Exciting things have been happening--things that have made me incredibly happy. Farewell 2008
Another year gone, as easily as I could post a lament on how much it sucked...it really didn't. Sure there were some revelations made, some relationships torn up, and things changing in subtle ways that will have potentially disastrous consequences on the future. It seems like regular pattern for me to forgo writing in this journal for weeks at a time only to return like some sort of prodigal, well, daughter. For anyone who has spent the last few days worried about me---I have good news. The problems that I had with my Dad are slowly being resolved. My Mom is by far the most awesome person in the world.
