Ok. I officially have a lil baby boy, and we are alive and well. The whole experience has filled me with many feels, and I think posting about everything that happened is going to be real helpful. So. FYI, the next few posts are likely to be only about having a baby, and not about dolls or cons or anything particularly fun

I always wondered what an epidural could possibly be like. Scary! Kind weird in that it seems like the body doing it's own thing is actually scarier than the needly part. I'm super glad y'all are doing well!

Yep the epidural wasn't sharp or pokey like getting a shot. I was concentrating really hard on staying still, and I had a nurse and Jason both helping to hold me still. It was...cold and felt kind of liquidy. And it makes you itch for a day afterwards, like mild bug bites all over. And it's weird when you can't move your own legs anymore...like when they numb your cheek at the dentist, but on all your legs. Weird, tingly feeling.
