Continuation again

When we last left off, I had been moved to the operating table and set up for my C-section. I don't know how many nurses were in the room, but after the fact I know that two doctors were there. I can't believe they waited as long as they did to let you have Trevor in your room. I teared up a little reading this.

Yeah, I guess if he had been vaginal, he would have never left my room, but C-section had him go to the nursery and I really think nurse Barbara forgot I existed throughout the day. I was pretty drugged up so I wasn't upset that he wasn't there, just confused.

That should be like at the top of a list of things doctors should totally not say in the presence of their patient, no matter how drugged up and out of it they are. At least PRETEND you're talking to the patient, and not talking like you're not even there.

Geeeeez. Hella rude. I wonder if they were just understaffed that last day or something, according to Christian that happens a lot. Not that that's any excuse for not giving you enough barf bags, come on now :\

"Fundus" is both a hilarious and super gross word. Good job, medical-namers-of-things

Of the two doctors, Callahan is pretty mean, so I imagine she's the one that said that. She has icy blue eyes like a white-walker and told me I was too fat...and combs called her a weight nazi at one point so I'm pretty sure it's something she'd say.
