So, is it just me or is everyone's worst course divination?

Billy and I snuggled in the new year on the couch, watching TV.  Collin tried his best to be a little trooper and stay up till midnight, but he passed out shortly after 11.  Tried my damnedest to wake him up at midnight, but it just wasn't happening.

So Friday J decided to come in late....again. She does that pretty much every day, but Friday was almost 90 minutes. She called in with excuses that I no longer believe, and honestly didn't care. So, what were you doing at 1:30am?

I was up with a coughing child reading "Fox in Socks" to him.  The cough medicine wore off and even after giving him more, it took a while.  So I figured the best way to keep him upright and not wake him up too much was to tuck him under my arm and read to him.

I came in today *very* optomistic about getting things done.  By rough calculation, I'd say between 1/2 and 2/3rds of the company is off today.  (And going by my office, more like 3/4ths.)  So I *thought* that this might mean I'd be able to move quickly through some of my projects that required the main system.  After all, it just seems logical to ( Read more... )
