I saw a cockatoo get hit by a car today, and as it was limping across the road, I rushed over and picked it up, to take it to the vet. Let me warn you, they can bite you incredibly hard. Strange how life changes so completely. There have been moments where the course of my life has changed radically. I can even date them. I think the first major turning point was early 2001, when I stayed with a friend and did nothing but party and have fun; pretty shallow, but very exciting for a 15 year old.
