I agree that most anime music videos are pretty "eh". However, I compiled a list of my Top Ten favorites for a slightly related meme that was going around a few years ago:

You can skip the ones for anime you haven't seen/don't care about, because it definitely loses something if you're not a fan of the source material, but they're all worth a watch in my opinion.

Oh neat, I'll check those out later tonight. (I know better than to go to YouTube when I have work to get done. "Related videos" = death. I go there to see one thing, end up watching 20, it's like a sickness LOL)

Ha ha. I do that with Wikipedia and The Onion, but I'm pretty good everywhere else.

It does, but sometimes they're fun to watch if the song choice is good, at least. You know I'm not exactly a fan of Sailor Moon, but I still liked the video I posted.

Oh, true. That's why I liked the "It Wasn't Me" Trigun one I posted--I don't like the song, I hadn't seen the anime yet, but damn was that funny. :)

Though that reminds me, I should know this but I forget, do you have the first... season(?) of Sailor Moon (subbed, obviously) on DVD? Or do you just have VHS or something? LOL though I have at least 2 things of yours to return before I ask to borrow anything else. :PI own all of Sailor Moon on VHS, but 1) one episode is missing (I forget why, it was probably just an oversight on the seller's part, and that would be easy ( ... )

Wow! That really was a good one!! Thanks for sharing it. You're right, it's hard to find the few good fan-made videos. So many of them are so so bad. >_<

I finally got around to watching it--that WAS very good editing and timing, some of the main ingredients to a good AMV. Very cool.

If you're interested, all of the scenes were from the ending of the third season, so if you can make it through that long, you'll get to see all that cool shit go down. And then if you've made it that far anyway, you might as well watch the fourth season, which has a fluffy winged horsey, and the fifth season, which is the end of the whole series and just explodes with awesomeness.
