Ugh. I was supposed to make this post like last week... I suck.

Anyhoo, a friend of mine is going back to school and needs a netbook. Well, I say she needs a netbook, her actual request was for something smaller/lighter than her laptop that she could run MS Office on to write papers and stuff. Sounds like a netbook to me ( Read more... )

I just got an Acer Aspire One from Newegg for $320.

Hmm. Did they have it on sale or with a rebate or something? I don't seen any Windows Aspire Ones for less than $350...

Maybe it was on sale. I definitely only paid $344 for the netbook, a case, and shipping total. Mine has Windows XP.

They are supposedly coming out with a new Aspire One with a 10 inch screen and prices of the 8.9 inch are supposed to drop.
