I went to the dentist yesterday and had a root canal plus two temp crowns pegged into place. I found a dentist who truly rocks so there was no pain beyond the needles, but the $800 price tag hurt plenty. The crowns will cost $1300 next month. I may have to live with the temps for two months so I have enough time to get the money together. I've

Dude... dentists are crazy expensive. Despite my awesome dental coverage (which is of course relative to what most people seem to have... or don't have), the bills make me want to cry... have you seen my boy's teeth ~cries~ Am putting my minor issues on hold till we get his teeth stabilized. I mean, who knew a lifetime of letting your child eat nothing but candy and soda while not giving a shit about their oral hygiene practices would have created havoc on their teeth? ~shakes fists at in-laws~ But I'm not bitter or nuffin... it's aight... I'ma fix them... but dear god is it expensive.
