Well little Bastian probably got his metabolism from his daddy. Can't wait to see ya'll (see how I did that... speaking all sounthern-eez)... including Gavin:-)

There has been a milk supply issue but my milk is actually quite fatty. I've been drinking Mother's Milk tea every day (two water bottles full) in order to boost my supply and it works. Bastian has never been an extended nurser and tends to spend only 5-10 minutes at the breast. This has always worried me but I've been assured it's quite normal *sigh*

We are hoping that the calorie dense foods he is getting in addition in addition to the breast milk will fix his weight gain problem. If they do not, we may have to offer him organic formula whenever he unlatches from the breast. That would likely result in him weaning, however, so I'm thinking of it as The Last Resort.
