A most underwhelming movie. I was rather disappointed. There were about 4 sets and 2 scenes. The scenes fell into one of two categories, "To fight or not to fight" and "Die mother fucker die mother fucker die". The only good scene was when the Queen did what she should have done 24 hours earlier

you're right, you can't compare them. but 300 still kicks a good deal of ass visually. i don't think you need to judge your date on this matter. both movies were sexist and farcical, but 300 had the courtesy not to pretend it wasn't. (ps. i don't think realism was what they were going for)

man, everybody has such strong opinions about this movie! crazy-pants.

several things (some unrelated to this entry lol)

-I think "that's my two sense" should be "two cents" unless my version of the expression is incorrect. lol :-P

-I heard 300 sucked too and is a completely inaccurate portrayal, so I haven't seen it. Troy was pretty damn good though, so maybe I would kind of like 300?

-And I checked out Rocky Run the other night with two of my friends to see if you guys were there but you weren't. Hope you had fun in Bmore though!

I was supposed to go see 300 with this guy (who I have absolutely NOTHING in common with) on Friday night, but I stood him up because I had this huge breakdown. Plus, I really had no interest in seeing 300 anyway. Thanks for confirming its suckiness.

Yes, if someone told me 300 was totally awesome and better than Gladiator, I would never trust their opinions on movies ever. Again. In my life.

Gotta admit it's a visually stunning movie... just not... oh...plot-oriented...well-acted...historically accurate...or true to the graphic novel itself in a lot of ways, but it's purdy!
