Just got back from dinner for Matt, Ron's best friend's birthday dinner. For 12 people, the bill came out to $700. Ron paid $270. Unreal. I can't believe some people. I'm more upset than Ron is because he's a good guy. But seriously, $270 for one person? Ridiculous!

Dinner was really fun though, so... I guess it was worth it?

never had it happen to me to that great of an extent, but i hate group dinners because the money situation always gets screwed up and no one fesses up and i usually am the pushover who pays more. nice gesture of ron though. (i will never be able to associate the name 'ron' to an asian or anyone without red hair. harry potter!)

four people left early to "catch a train" and i think someone may have forgotten to pay all together? either way, so messed up. but he didn't want to make a stink because it was his friend's birthday.
