pineapple chunks: - pit a pineapple. discard pit. (is it officially called a pit? i don't know, i just call it that because it's useless/tasteless/hard.) - chop the rest of the pineapple into quarter inch cubes.
or the easier but much less tasty way: - buy a can of pineapples in it's own juices cut up into chunks.
i know this can be difficult because there are lots of different types: chunks, pieces, slices, tid-bits, crushed, and i think that's it. you should always get them in their own juices because it's either that or in syrup, which is disgusting!
hope that helps with the pineapple. that life thing though... that's a tough one. i usually tell people to join the armed forces, but you already did that... so i've got nothing for you. actually, it's always between the armed forces and engineering. there's so many different fields, you're bound to find one that you enjoy.
and poker is a game of luck and skill. if you're not skilled, hopefully you're lucky. i like to pretend i'm lucky.
