It's easy to forget because of how awful it is at a human level, but we live in a truly magical world, in a truly magical time in it
To see an airplane in flight is to see something beyond the imagination of countless generations of human beings. What will they say about us, generations from now, I wonder? What will they remember of this moment? It's tough, isn't it? But what a magic I've seen in the world! I know one day no one will believe this, but what a magic place the acts of humans can make!
I truly believe if we devoted this effort to ourselves, we could make this world a paradise, beautiful and everlasting for everyone and thing in it. This is my highest wish.
