Mostly TVD

After trying to watch TVD twice last night finally the third time was the charm (at 11pm) I started watching at 8pm but it was halted due to a good friend in crisis.  The 9pm showing I started was interupted with some good news from my neighbour....she's pregnant!!! And I finally got to watch it at the 11pm showing (thank goodness for time shifting

I had pretty much the same reaction to this episode as you did, B. I enjoyed it overall and am trying not to overanalyze it but there were certainly things that I didn't like at all.

I've watched it 3 times now and think I will stop at that, as I seem to be getting more negative with each rewatch.

I am glad to hear that Matt's show got cancelled and certainly hope that means that Alaric will return to TVD in S5 (even as a ghost would be fine with me).

Grimm was very good! I'm glad Juliette found the way to become one with a memory and not be driven mad by Nick appearing everywhere. The whole squad room sending Hank off on vacation was entertaining as was Sargent Wu in the whole episode. I'm also enjoying how Nick and the royal Captain are forging some kind of relationship after all their turmoil. Thanks so much for getting me started watching this. :)

I read your post and will comment on it as well. I am glad we are on the same page with TVD and also Grimm.

I wonder how that baby will turn out!!!
