Everytime I go to church, I am bombarded by the escapist ideal that is the pre-tribulation rapture. Where is the proof? I see none. The word "rapture" never appears in the bible. Secondly, neither does the concept. People have told me "Skylar...look...here is the proof." Then they'll show me some scripture. Every single verse I've been shown is

Amen! Bravo! I agree with you that the pretrib rapture is nonsense. You might like to go Googling and type in "Pretrib Rapture Diehards," "Thomas Ice (Bloopers)," "Pretrib Hypocrisy," and "Famous Rapture Watchers" (many quotes proving that the greatest Christians of all time never ever taught a pretrib rapture!).
