Yep, they're lying hypocritical bastards. But the problem is, they're committed to this whole "get pregnant, marry quickly, repent in leisure" thing, so they're not going to change because that would involve admitting they've fucked up their entire lives.

You know, one of my pals had a pregnancy scare recently and it got me thinking. What if I hooked up with a guy and got pregnant? I'm ashamed to say I would greatly consider an abortion. I would want to keep it out of maternal love, but to do so, would mean leaving Boston. I'd have to move in with my mom or one of my sisters to make ends meet. And then, we're not even getting into the challenges of taking care of a baby here, but it would ruin my life plan. I'd have to relocate to someplace I hated, get a shit job and deal with the ignomy of living with family without a way out. Yeah, ruin is an appropriate word. A blessed ruining, but a ruining.
