To give you an idea of how dull my life really is, when I actually accomplish housework I feel like I've conquered the world or something. XD

Dude, I'm totally blaming you for my current story bunny. ^__^ It's a strange conglomeration of the idea I was babbling about in your last Egypt post and this weird fictional sci-fi phenomenon that could never in a million years ever happen, except magical instead of sci-fi. It's going to be awesome. ::grin:: But I'm being good for now, 'cause I'm like this close to finishing the fairy tale and that must come first. ^__^ (Speaking of which, you can totally yell at me if you don't get the whole thing in your email tonight. ^__~ ::cough:: Because I'm totally a sucker for your lovely comments. <33)
... and now I'm going to stop slacking and get back to work. Really. ^__^
They are the love. For serious. XD And truly, the only easier thing to make is brown mix because you just dump everything into a pan instead of making cookie drops.
(And! Because I hate doing dishes, I put aluminum foil on top of the cookie sheet, and when the cookies were done, foil goes in trash and cookie sheets still clean. XD)
I have done that foil thing! ^__^ Also, I've made little cookie pans out of foil for making french fries and stuff, so I don't have to clean the pan later, too.
Housework is to be done rarely, and celebrated afterwords. XD I totally agree. ^_^ I was bouncing all over the place and Jason was all, 'why are you so excited about this'? I don't understand these people who do it every week, where is the happiness and the celebration in that? ;3
Which would have been perfectly fine if you weren't comparing ancient so-and-so's idea of Alex the great as Genghis Khan meets Superman to another ancient so-and-so's idea that Alex the great shot lightening bolts out of his ass because he was just. that. awesome.
Okay, you almost owed me a new monitor. I seriously snorted Diet Coke up my nose when I read that sentence. Mostly because it's so damn true.
One of the good points of Alexander the Great is that he had a very cute male lover. I consider this a win. XD

The instructor spent like half a sentence on that, and I sat there wishing that that was what the entire class was about. But yes! So totally FTW! I mean, as a super action hero, Alex the great is completely kick ass. Just, you know, when he's viewed as a historical figure the same as like, say, Lincoln...it's more of a head scratcher. ;3

Several, actually. Especially after he conquered half of Asia and started really liking oriental culture and wore silk pants and lounged on pillows with little mirrors on and had lots and lots of cute harem boys servicing him. Okay, so I don't know about the pants and pillows, but yes, harem boys. He did have a mostly-steady relationship with... oh, I said it was his cousin below, but I think it was his... best friend or something, cute Asian harem boys notwistanding.
Uhhh... I got the cookies part of my to-do list covered. (I've got peanut butter chillin' in the fridge for later.) The whole, cleaning the entire house part has kind of fallen by the way side in favor of rolling in the floor with the dogs. I admire your go-getter-ness!
Re: all the mopping and vacuuming and cleaning - dude. I admire you XD
Re: cookies. As a baking fanatic, I've always kinda snubbed box mixes of any kind, dismissing them as 'not real cake' (and also possibly because there are pathetically few choices in our supermarkets and that's just my way of dealing with it instead of being all woeful). But! I keep hearing people claiming that cake mix cookies are divine, so I'm determined to try them! The fact that they're chewy kinda sealed the deal for me.
Re: Alex the Great ::rubs hands:: Oh man, you don't even know the half of it. Try doing classes about Alexander the Great in Greece. See, Alex was pretty great, indeed (as one would guess). But, well, Greeks have this terrible, terrible habit of exaggerating the good bits of a great person's history. And in case of 'ugly' bits, hiding them with more exaggerated made-up good bits. So, please, forgive us for going on and on about how he was stronger than Superman, feircer than Genghis Khan, and more brilliant than McKay, WE'RE TRYING TO COVER
( ... )
I just realized that this is (probably) inaccurate, the one doing his cousin was Achilles I believe, and Alexander was the one with the best friend lover. I'm not too sure, though, I can't keep all our heroes' lovers straight, they all had male lovers.
I can't cook my way out of a paper bag, so I'm all for easy. And there's something poetic about using cake mix for a purpose it wasn't intended for. XD It really does make for kick ass cookies that are easy to make. The only thing that might possibly be easier than this is getting the cookie dough that comes in a tube. ^_^;;
XD I totally spaced that you would be all up on the know when it comes to Alex the great. *snort giggles* Oh and the 'gagging for cock'. I'm dying! XD That is just awesome. Seems a pity that they don't share that with you in school. ;_;
*snickers* History is so much fun sometimes just because of how little sense it makes when it comes to why people remember things the way that they do. <333333

Oh and doggies! Is there ever a better reason to avoid work in general than to play with puppies? Seriously, I'm envious. :D
