This just slays me.

Also, I've discovered that the reason that I like my lj background to be black with white writing, is because white screens are really hard on my eyes. O_o;; I was reading a story the other night that was on a page that had a plain white background with black words...ouch! I can handle it for about an hour, but if the story ( Read more... )

Ahahah. XD The male laughter in the background is hilarious.

By the way, when reading weird coloured text on white backgrounds these days I just do a ctrl+a, because then at least the white surrounding the text is less... white. :P

Aren't ebooks black on white? They usually have large text, though, maybe that helps?

Saw those dogs on our local news... you know, sharing the embarrassment of their out of state colleagues. ^_^

The larger texts on them help a lot, but sometimes if the book is fairly long, I have to take a break and come back. It was with them that I began noticing the headaches. ^_^;; Rereading Second Wind on nifty pretty much sealed the deal.

*snicker giggles* They're infamous!

Oh, that. I copy/pasted it into word so I didn't have to deal with the boring courier font and yucky formatting. ^_^ I suppose you could do that, but then highlight it all in black. It leaves white all around where there isn't writing, but... *pets your head*

*snugs*

I leave a page I've been on for a length of time that's white on black and all the white on other pages is really white and bright

That's definitely a part of it. XD The other part, for me at least, is I spend a good chunk of time reading online in the shade or in the dark. White pages hurt the eyes then.
