Has anyone read this book by Garth Nix? Sabriel? It's the first in a trilogy. I've been told it's a really good book by at least four people I know, and I had a friend lend it to me (forcefully) earlier today. I started reading it, but I really can't get into it. Is there something wrong with me? D:

I can't get into 'Northern Lights' (Golden Compass... whatever it's called). I keep trying but it just doesn't appeal to me at all. I'm too scared to make a list of the books I'm reading, I don't want to now how lax I've been!

I had a bit of trouble as well with that book. I had to read it in the bath for me to finally catch onto it, and I think I might have to read Sabriel in the bath as well. Usually when I read books in the bath, I get caught up in them much easier than if I'm reading outside or in bed. XD

Oh dear. Just from your fear I'd think your booklist might be twice the size of mine. XD
