the Stand actually started off okay, the first hour or so wasn't too bad. But once factions started forming it went from just okay to increasingly bad (the hand of God jerking off a nuke made it almost laughable.)

The King adaptations are usually home runs (Shawshank, Carrie) or dismal failures (It, the Stand).
