The breeder sounds like one to wait for, as difficult as it is. It's good that you already have a relationship. Will you be able to go visit your pup before you can bring her home? I think we went down to Olympia once before we brought Mac and Fiona home.

My parents have had to get a bigger cat tree because Oliver is so huge.

Have you seen the BBC's Sherlock? Because if not, you need to. Right frickin' now.

Yeah, I agree. I want to wait. If we don't end up getting a puppy from them by this summer (from one of the two possible upcoming litters) we may look to something else. But you're right, they are amazing and responsible and I'm not sure I want to get a puppy from anyone else! So we may even rethink a puppy for now if nothing happens in the next few months.

Yay for Sherlock love! Season two stars on Sunday! Opposite Game of Thrones, of course.

Here is a recent photo of Oliver. I haven't corrected the eyes yet. I have a picture of him in Frisky's old cat box which would give a better indication of his size but he looks pretty undignified.

I hear you about AC. This one will be my last for at least a few years. Same issue as you guys -- no direct flights, expensive airfare, etc. You're right about most of the food around the DLCC, but we discovered a Melting Pot not too far away and I was going to invite you guys along. I'm sure I can catch you for some good eats at one of the west coast cons though. :)

Hawaii?? Yay!! Which island? Are you going to have enough time to explore, snorkle, etc. outside the wedding? If not, try to give yourself some time for it. You won't regret!

Are you both locked onto a husky pup? If you're willing to maybe take on a 1 to 2 year old, I'm sure we can get you in touch with some rescues nearby?

Ohhh man, that sounds fun!! I know I'm going to miss everyone like crazy when AC rolls around. Might have to stay off Twitter for a week! Are you coming to RF this year?

I am so excited for Hawaii, I've never been. We'll be in the Honolulu area, and since it's for a wedding and a bunch of friends will be there we probably won't go too far afield, but we'll definitely do some stuff outside the city and Waikiki. I really want to snorkel and go on some hikes.

We're only locked onto a puppy because we both really want to raise a puppy...sort of a "life list" thing neither of us have done. I imagine future dogs will be rescues or otherwise NOT puppies. But for now it's what we want, though who knows...we've been patient for a while and it's starting to wane! There are lots of adoptable huskies out there, so we may end up going that route.

Hawai'i's nice; I've not been back in around 10 years, but some things about it I miss. Even Waikiki has it's uses. :>

I'm doing AC this year, but really have a hard time getting up the enthusiasm for it. Hopefully, I will by June, at least. We'll see, but it's probably also my last for a while.

I've never been! I'm so excited. And rather jealous of our friend who lives there now, he just got a job at a dolphin park. And they snorkel every day. It's ridiculous XD

I've been so excited for AC the last two years. But thinking about it this year was just stressing me out, because in the back of my mind I knew we didn't have the time or the money. And I had a really awesome fursuit planned I wanted to debut there that I have had zero time to work on, so there was that disappointment, too. I know I'll miss seeing everyone, but I really look forward to something new next year :) Possibly something like FWA, FCN, MFF etc that a lot of those same folks make it to.

Always! We love FC and it's much more affordable for us :) And all our west coast friends are there ^^
