Pretty exhausted from several weeks working nonstop. I used up alllll my schedule buffer and then some working on my first commission (the fox that went to The Netherlands), so I really had to go full bore to finish a couple things by AC. I finished
this fox head, and the bodysuit, paws, and feet
for this kitty! The deadline really forced me to

HA! I for some reason didn't realize when you were talking about the kitty body that you meant a body for the sandcat head :P Hurr! Are there any pics of the body?

I do have some photos of the bodysuit, I'll post them to FA soon! And hopefully there will be photos of the whole costume in action from AC.

Your suits are amazing! It's cool it went to Ace because we see him pretty often, he lives close to me. Karpour fixed up his old suit once, it looked awwwful on the inside :P Ofcourse we examined the head of your fox on the inside, you did a great job and you can really tell you know how to make durable things. (Maybe it's one of the problems fursuit makers have, they don't know how to sew, I still don't even know how to use a sewing machine and when I made Kiki's head, I had no idea what the heck I was doing at all)
RF should have been EF ;)

I learned how to sew years ago, and it definitely helps. There are still a lot of other skills I've had to learn from the beginning (I've never really worked in 3D, for example). But having all the sewing skills is pretty great! Did you sew all your costumes by hand? I know a lot of people hand sew bodysuits, but since I use a sewing machine whenever possible I can't imagine, haha! I machine-stitched the last two heads, as well, which is sooo much faster than hand-sewing, which is how Evergreen was constructed.
I would LOVE to come to EF, it's definitely high on my list! I would be wonderful to meet you and Karpour! Someday soon I hope :)

Aw, thanks! *I* handsew everything, but Karpour usually does the most of the bodies, and uses a machine for the big seams. Not for the detailing or the highly visible seams (shoulders, for example), though. The heads are completely handsewn. Right now I'm working on a big plush-like project, it's as (maybe even more than) detailed as a fursuit, and I have to sew the whole body too... it's a lot of work D: It should all be worth it in the end, though!

And yeah, taking time away from work is vital...I'm not super good at it either but it really is important!
