Need some design critique

Hey guys, I've been struggling with my boy's character design for a while now, but I think I'm finally moving in the right direction. I'd love to hear your input before I make it final. I'm happy with this, but I've been staring at it for a while so I feel like another pair of eyes or three could make it better

awww he's cute! I like the blue stripes on the arm, very nice. Not so sure about the pattern on the back - that might be tricky to do :)

Yeah, I suspect it'd be a bit tricky. I was inspired by some of the designs Scribblefox/One Fur All has done, so it's possible...but I've seen some not-so-successful attempts at details like that as well. I'll play with it, since I really do want the boy to have a suit someday :)
