Someone, please get me to write something other than Amy/Rory fluff.  Though this one is kind of indirect, I suppose.

Also, don't ask why I wrote a Cold Blood reaction fic now of all times.

Thank you! I really like the idea of the Doctor himself considering Rory legendary, because the things he does are so ordinary and yet the Doctor would never be able to do them.

Oh *makes sadface* I love that the Doctor picks up on all of Rory's amazing points and how you show the guilt he feels. The line "He gave his life to save one of his friends, who had been dawdling when he should have been running" is just so perfect because I bet the Doctor does feel the weight of that knowledge.

Thanks. The entire premise of Vincent and the Doctor is the Doctor bringing Amy to all these fantastic places because he feels so guilty over Rory, but he never says anything (because he can't). I like to think this was what he was thinking during that, though.

The last phrase she leaves unspoken, though the Doctor understands it well enough. Someone better than you. Or me.

This is fantastic! I would encourage you to write something besides Amy/Rory fluff, but you do make it so adorable...

Ack, I'd be crying, but i already cried myself out from rewatching Journey's End (Donna T.T). You'll just have to settle for imagining that I did.

Thanks! Hm, I didn't think of it this way before, but this is sort of like the Doctor's eulogy for Rory. Because somehow, someway, he has to be remembered.
