I don't remember them alluding that the professor was the lion, I just thought that he knew about the wardrobe, of course I read it when I was seven and didn't have much of a sense for hidden meanings, so I could be wrong...

Woah....Yeah, the Chronicles of Narnia was excellent. But uh, I have absolutely no recollection of the allusion that Aslan was the professor. Aslan is supposed to be Jesus and I didn't think the professor had anything to do with it (you may be thinking of the Magician's Nephew where the main character is like, the Professor's great-grandfather or something like that and he's closer to the story). BUT you may be right...I'm gonna be reading the series again during the break so I'll get back to you with the information on that. There's my dorky input.
