(Summary- about playing pranks)
Yabu Kota
An episode where you played pranks when you were a kid and reflected on it after becoming an adult.
I don’t really reflect but if I were to talk about an episode, it would be uncountable (laugh). I pushed my friend into the lake and he pulled me down too, so I was all wet. I had a school excursion the next day but I didn’t have any other shoes to wear and I got scolded by my mother. During lessons, I pulled and played with the ponytail of the girl sitting in front of me…. And she cried. During science lesson, we had to do an experiment with a newt reptile, I brought the reptile near girls who were scared of it and they were so shocked. They got really really angry (laugh). I was brought to a place which was something like a life counselling room for two hours. I think I also wrote a reflection essay but I happened to have a game with me and I was playing with that all the while (laugh). My elder brother too. He came into my room and threw tissues which he used to blow his nose all over. Of course, I retaliated.
A cute prank which the girl you like plays on you but you forgive her
If she tells me that she will be a little late, but when I reach our meeting place, she is already there. That will be so cute. And because I think she isn’t here yet, she will give me a surprise attack and I will be like “Ueiii! What’s with that~!” (laugh). Pranks which I cannot forgive are those which has an impact on your body. Like making me eat really horrible stuff, or changing the contents in my shampoo bottle to conditioner.
When you play a prank on the girl you like, she gets more angry than you expect. How will you make up with her?
I will explain it to her. For example, if I watch television or read magazines and say “This girl is really cute. I want to date such a girl” and continue saying that persistently. I will make her jealous on purpose and when she gets angry and says “That’s enough!”, I will say “Okay I won’t say anything else” and keep quiet. Then when she apologizes, I will say “I was in the wrong too” (laugh) But if she really cries, I will apologize first.

Tomorrow is my birthday and I received a prepaid card from Chinen. Speaking of that, the only person whom I gave a birthday present to is Chinen. I do not realize when it is the birthday of the others. There was a period of time where I coincidentally met Tottsu on both of our birthdays. But before Tottsu said “It’s my birthday today”, I did not realize at all. This is the case even though we are so close (laugh)

Winter in Miyagi is really cold so instead of down jackets, there are many people who wear long overcoats. Everyone hangs their coats along the corridor so during break time, I would hide among the coats and pull down the pants of the person walking along the corridor so that he was only left with his underwear. I played such pranks (laugh)

You wouldn’t even believe how I am someone who doesn’t get surprised. I am someone who has no reaction even if the glass window in the classroom suddenly breaks. (laugh). So on the other hand, I will feel sorry on the girl who had wanted to play a prank on me (laugh). The only time I will have a big reaction is if a cat suddenly jumps into my lap, I will probably scream loudly. …..When I talk about this, I unconsciously want to look around me already (laugh). But although she can probably get a reaction from me, I don’t know if I will forgive her (laugh). At least, instead of a cat, use a rabbit!

I will immediately apologize and say “sorry sorry sorry!” I am someone who realizes when the situation has become bad (laugh). I heard that when people get angry, they will calm down in 15-20 minutes. So if she gets really angry I will firstly leave the area, buy flowers at a florist and return 20 minutes later. Then I will apologize seriously and pass her the bouquet!

I received a ukulele from an acquaintance. It was a ukulele which was bought from Hawaii and made from core wood, the real thing! When I spoke of how I had an interest in ukuleles, he said “I don’t play it at all so rather than me having it, the ukulele would be happier if Hikaru uses it” I got excited and said “Really~~~!! I want it!” Thanks to 24 hours television, I adopted an interest in the ukulele and now this is my sixth one. All of them have different sounds. Those healing music is still good. This is just my own interest but I did watch and research on videos by the famous ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro-san. I have already composed a few original songs so it would be great if I have a chance to show my works to everyone some day.
