Yabu: Giving someone flowers, I feel that this only happens during Mothers Day, how about the rest?

Takaki: I give them quite often.

Yuto: Oh, there is a cool guy here.

Takaki: I give them as presents to my friends, and I give them to my friend’s family too. I also give them to previous co-workers when they are in another work role.

Yuto: Ah, I have given flowers before when it comes to work-related matters. But I guess I receive more than I give them. By the way, the flowers I receive on my last day of filming for my movie and dramas, I bring all of them home and re-grow them. For flowers, they are still pretty even after the petals have dropped. I am touched by that and I think “They are beautiful up to the moment they start to wither!” Also, my mother likes flowers so she is happy when I bring flowers back.

Yabu: Isn’t that a way of filial piety (laugh). Speaking of that, my mother also likes flowers and seems like she is attending lessons now. So the house is full of flowers. She asked me “Doesn’t the entrance smell good?”, and actually I didn’t realize it at all but I still said “Ah, that’s right” (laugh)

Yuto: That’s a good son (laugh)

Yabu: Recently when I think “there are new flowers again” I do tell her “this one looks good too”

Takaki: Both of you are kind. For me, I will definitely not realize such things… In Yuto’s family, your mother does grow flowers at home since before right?

Yuto: Yeah. She grew some roses at the corner of the entrance, and since it is the season now, they have started blooming a lot and it is really pretty. She boasts to me every year and say “See, this year they are blooming beautifully too” (laugh)

Takaki: I saw a photo of that once, and it was really gorgeous!

Yabu: Feels like a kid from a great home (laugh)

Takaki: Yeah. Aren’t there houses where we pass by on the way home in elementary school and everyone will start saying “That house is so nice~”? That’s exactly the image (laugh)

Yuto:  Leave that topic on a kid from a great home aside (laugh), but that’s true, even to me, that corner is really pretty!

Yabu: Speaking of other flowers… the house I used to live in had cherry blossom trees right beside it. During spring, when I opened the window, the sakura petals would blow in my room. It really felt like “Spring has arrived!~” and I really liked it.

Yuto: Ah, that’s wonderful. Cherry blossoms are romantic and I like them too. They only bloom for about one week. How you cannot measure the length of time it blooms is also good. It makes you feel “Thank you for blooming again this year”

Takaki: But if I want to give flowers to a girl, I want them to last long.

Yuto: ….. you can’t give cherry blossoms then.

Yabu: Yeah. They will wither soon and she will be really sad (laugh)

Takaki: Recently, aren’t there preserved flowers which won’t wither forever? Aren’t those good?

Yuto: They are good. Some time would have passed after receiving the flowers. And I guess preserved flowers, or a small bouquet is better in that sense. How about Yabu-kun?

Yabu: For me… I want to write a song and add flowers in the lyrics and give it to her as a present.

Yuto: It has appeared! The lyricist! (laugh) What kind of song?

Takaki: Something like “♪flower, flower, flower~~~”?

Yabu: Anyone can write that! For example, adding in the name of the flower that represents the season she was born in, and the flower that represents her birthday. Throwing in a casual phrase that only she will understand, and giving it to her, I guess she will be happy.

Yuto: Kuuuu~~♪

Takaki: That’s great~!

Yuto: Having talent in writing lyrics is the strength of those who are good in imagination. So if that turns into reality, what kind of flower would you use to represent the girl you like?

Yabu: Philadelphia fleabane. Unexpectedly, I probably like people who are simple (laugh). Cherry blossoms are good too.

Takaki: So you only can meet her for one week? (laugh) For me…. dandelion i guess.

Yabu: …. this isn’t related but when we were kids, don’t they often tell you “if the fluff from a dandelion enters your ears, something bad will happen”?

Takaki and Yuto: They did they did!!

Yuto: And also they did say “Don’t blow the fluff towards people” right?! That’s nostalgic~ Eh, what were we talking about again? (laugh). The type of a girl I like. For me, weeping cherry blossoms I guess. The weeping cherry blossoms feel sexy!

Takaki: That’s the type of sexiness for Yuto.

Takaki: The member who talks the most is Arioka-kun I guess. Being movies or music, he has an image of talking continuously about different genres of things.

Yabu: That’s right. Dai-chan feels like he is always talking about something.

Takaki: He has many stories to share.

Yabu: He talks about things that happened yesterday, and anything else.

Yuto: Yeah. That part of Dai-chan is somehow cute (laugh)

Yabu: He also talks about what he is going to do later. Very detailed like “Today work ends early so I am going to watch a movie~♪” (laugh)

Yuto: It is not like he wants someone to listen to him, but those words just naturally come out of his mouth.

Yabu: Chinen does have some machine gun talk at times too.

Yuto: He sometimes says “what’s wrong? what’s wrong?!” But Chinen often listens to others too. Things which I am maniacally into, he doesn’t get sick of my words and keeps listening to me (laugh). The three of us…. I wonder? We are not the type who keep talking too.

Takaki: We are normal, really normal (laugh)

Yabu: Yeah. It just feels that we talk to whoever is around us at that moment.

Yuto: And when we get home, we don’t talk on the phone too.

Yabu: Yeah. I say everything I want to when we meet.

Yuto: If we have something to discuss, we say it out too.

Takaki: So it actually means that all our communication is done at the workplace itself, so we don’t have to bring everything into our private lifes.

Yuto: That’s right.

Yabu: I suddenly recall this, but there was a period of time where the word “Mufasa” was trending among the members right? Do you remember?

Yuto: I remember! It is the name of one of the characters in Lion King. We would say in a low voice “mufasa!”

Yabu: Yeah. We had just wanted to say that word.

Takaki: Theres no meaning to that (laugh)

Yuto: It became like a favourite phrase of ours.

Yabu: I wonder what was that about. Speaking of favourite phrases, what do you think are the common used phrases among the members?

Yuto: I feel that Keito often says “But somehow~”

Yabu: Now that you say it, it probably is. Others? (3 of them are in deep thought)

Takaki: ….. this is unexpectedly hard (laugh)

Yabu: We are together for long period of time and we don’t know it (laugh). Then, how does it feel when you talk to people other than the members? Yuto is the type who talks enthusiastically to your co-stars right?

Yuto: Yeah. I want them to have a fun time during work so I try to make various topics in our conversation.

Takaki: You are sociable. I somehow take into consideration and don’t really talk. I feel like “If I start to initiate a conversation it wont be good”

Yabu: I understand those feelings. Like “You feel sorry if you end up intruding their privacy” right. So instead of speaking directly, I often try to talk with eye contact (laugh). Through the mirror of the dressing room, when our eyes meet, “…… (greet them silently)” something like that.

Yuto: Is that okay? Will it be proper communication to the person? (laugh)

Yabu: Probably okay. But for the sake of the future, I think I want to upgrade my talk skills. What do you think I should do?

Takaki: No, if I know what you should do, I would have done it! (laugh)

Yuto: How about being conscious of “communicating with others” while trying to interact with them?

Yabu: I see, I will work hard (laugh). I also feel that it is important to have basic knowledge and information with you all the time. So when topics are thrown to you, you have something to talk about. …..I am reflecting already on today’s crosstalk. I think that “If only I know more flower varieties, I will be able to make this talk more interesting!” (laugh)

Yuto: You are reflecting (laugh)

Takaki: It isn’t necessary to become a very enthusiastic person but it would be good if you could have a certain level of communication based on your own skills. I will work hard from now on too (laugh)
