Hikaru: Speaking of training, the other day we went to the pool together. Chinen and Takaki were there too, and it was fun swimming with everyone.
Arioka: That day, I met Chinen before going the pool and we had lunch.
Hikaru: Both of you were a little late.
Arioka: We ordered sandwiches and they took really long to serve us. So when we contacted Hikaru-kun and said “we will be late”, there were many messages coming to Chinen’s phone. “Where are you now?” “How long more will you take?” and that was quite cute (laugh)
Hikaru: Well, it was the first time I was at that place and I was nervous…
Arioka: In the first place, I used to go to that pool alone, but Hikaru-kun asked Takaki “I hope you can teach me how to swim” and so it became “Let’s go together next time then”. But when we started swimming, even though Hikaru said he is like a hammer (TN: ie. sinks in water), he totally….
Hikaru: Yeah. When Takaki taught me, I could swim immediately (laugh). Thanks to that, I could enjoy it and this morning I went with Chinen again.
Arioka: You are really into it now.
Hikaru: Swimming breaststroke style feels good and I like it. I mainly swim breast stroke and freestyle, and when I get tired, i change to backstroke.
Arioka: Fufu… (suddenly recalling something and laughing)
Hikaru: Eh, what?
Arioka: I heard this from Chinen. Hikaru-kun said “I am going to swim backstroke now” and started swimming. And then it wasn’t backstroke at all…
Hikaru: Ah, I know now (laugh)
Arioka: It was just another version of the breast stroke, just that you were facing up right?
Hikaru: Yeah. It was like the butterfly stroke style and when I was laughed at, I realized it for the first time (laugh)
Arioka: You won’t get hungry after swimming right? This is something that I always feel.
Hikaru: I know!
Arioka: But Hikaru-kun forced himself to eat. That day too, after the pool you bought a whole lot of ingredients. I was shocked and thought you could really eat alot.
Hikaru: For me, if I don’t eat I will lose weight. If I lose weight, the fans will get worried (laugh). And also, when I go to the pool, we get muscles that day right?
Arioka: Really? For me, I think it is good as long as I don’t get muscle ache.
Hikaru: Because we can cool our body while doing muscle training.
Arioka: Rather than muscle ache, we can also cure stiff shoulders.
Hikaru: I want to eat a lot and increase my weight, and in the end my aim is Bruce Lee’s body!
Arioka: Then I will aim to be like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son (laugh)
Arioka: Recently, is there anything fun in your private life?
Hikaru: I wonder what? Probably how I packed my room all at once.

Arioka: I finally reformed my veranda. DIY!
Hikaru: You have been talking about doing it since before.
Arioka: I did right? It is now a season where it feels good spending time outdoors so I built a wood deck, set up a lattice around it and placed some plants.
Hikaru: That’s nice!! For me, I placed a vegetable planter in the veranda, and i grow vegetables there.
Arioka: When I fixed up the lattice, I realized how wide it was. When summer comes, I want to eat in the veranda.
Hikaru: If you can even view fireworks festival there, it would be great.
Arioka: Speaking of that, weren’t we really into playing with fireworks during a period of time?
Hikaru: During junior high school.
Arioka: But there are few places which allow fireworks so we put in so much effort into finding them, and it was really tough.
Hikaru: We even went near the sea right?
Arioka: To Kamakura. We had wanted to go there for our first visit to the temple in that year, and we dropped by the beach when there was a fireworks wholesale store along the way. We bought a lot of fireworks and it became a really awesome event (laugh)
Hikaru: Or rather, the fireworks flew off in a direction which we didn’t expect. And we were afraid that they would think we were playing pranks.
Arioka: I do still play with fireworks now and occasionally I recall those times.
Hikaru: That’s nice. I don’t do that now at all.
Arioka: I played them with Chinen last year, this year we will invite Hikaru-kun too!
