Yabu: Yup. Right at the beginning of the song, Yuya sings “cua-mon bu-e-bi now"♪
Takaki: Hahahaha! I will make myself clear, that kind of singing was on purpose.
Yabu: It is a kind of bewitching way of singing, showing your maturity, I like that.
Yuto: I like Yabu-kun’s fake voice! He can stretch his vocals really well, and the person listening to it feels happy.
Takaki: That’s him after all. I listened to it while thinking "That’s nice. I want to sing high notes too” Such songs which we don’t normally sing, “let me sing those fake high notes too!” (laugh)
Yabu: Hahaha! I recorded that part many times. I wasn’t satisfied with it. In fact, I tried singing it acapella without the background orchestra. I thought that my voice had to win over the orchestra music, and with that, my voice naturally came out.
Takaki: If I did the same thing, it would be over for me (laugh)
Yuto: The three of us had a PV and the PV setting came to mind immediately.
Yabu: Yup. By the way, the condition for having a PV was winning the quiz.
Takaki: I didn’t contribute at all to the quiz but I managed to have a PV (laugh). I am really sorry!
Yabu: Well, you are lucky.
Yuto: It was thanks to Yabu-kun that we won! There were a number of questions regarding JUMP. You do remember a lot about the past right?
Yabu: I was also surprised that I could remember so much. So, as what I said, being in the same unit as me grants you a PV (laugh)
Yuto: That’s true! Already two consecutive years.
Yabu: Speaking of that, the dance choreography was decided right on the spot on the day of filming the PV. During intervals, the three of us would rehearse in front of the full length mirror.
Takaki: Ah, that was really hard!
Yabu: Oh yes, at the beginning of the PV, there is a scene where Yuya stepped into a puddle of water. When I watched the preview on the monitor, the water splashes were really pretty.
Yuto: Everytime me and Yabu-kun stepped into the water puddles, we would look at the monitor while getting excited and saying “Yay!” (laugh)
Takaki: There is a trick to that. The second your foot reaches the surface of the puddle, you have to put some strength in your leg and jump in.
Yuto: I see! As one would expect.
Takaki: But during the rehearsal, two of you went “YAY!” and everything went well, but during the first take, it was a no-good shot.
Yabu: Yes it was! Also, thanks to the title Mr Flawless, during the filming, we were playing with “words that end with -less”
Yuto: Yup. We said “let’s search for the -less” (laugh) For example, sugarless, startless…
Yabu: Stress, mirrorless
Yuto: There are many. We played while saying wow there are so many of them.
Takaki: We thought of many, but it has nothing to do with the PV nor the concert (laugh). It just adds on to our knowledge. “I see! We can use -less like that!”
Yuto: It’s great that it was a chance to learn (laugh). Next is how we will present this out during the live.
Yabu: That’s right. Leaving the PV impression, it would be great if we can have a performance just for the concert. As of now, we don’t have plans to show the PV at the live. Because if everyone looks at the monitor, we will feel upset that no one looks at us (laugh)
Takaki: That’s true!
Yabu: Flawless means perfect.
Yuto: In other words, “PERFECT HUMAN” (laugh). We need to have a perfect performance too.
