Summer invitation Q&A
Q1. Do you often invite your friends out? Or get invited by them?
Yabu: My friends date me out on weekends.
My friends mostly are off on weekends and they often ask me “what are you doing?” and invite me out. They often invite me to go for a BBQ or help out with their house moving (laugh)
Hikaru: I have few friends but I do contact them
About the same for both. But for me to invite someone out, I only have that same 3-4 friends. I do contact them enthusiastically when I have free time in my schedule.
Q2. If you could invite a J-star out this summer and do something with him?
Yabu: To where Sou-kun grew up in!
I’m looking at the cover of Popolo now and my eyes met with Sou-kun so I want to go somewhere with him! I want to go Shizuoka with Sou-kun doing the planning. It seems fun even going around places where you already have a connection with.
Hikaru: I want Ohno-kun to teach me fishing.
I want to go out fishing on a boat with Ohno-kun. I have been fishing when I was young but that’s about the only experience I have so if I am with Ohno-kun, it will be reassuring and seems fun.
Q3. Are you strong or weak towards temptations?
Yabu: I probably don’t think of temptations as temptations
I think I am strong, or rather I don’t even feel that those are temptations. Because they might be things that I actually want to do. I am stress free!
Hikaru: I have confidence to complete everything that I should!
I have a stoic personality and I have confidence that I will not stray away from something that I have to do. When I am practising in a band too, I don’t take notice of anything else.
Q4. Among your five senses, which sense is weakest towards temptation?
Yabu: I just end up clicking on the button
I’m weak to my sense of sight.. When I shop online I just keep buying sneakers and stuff. And after that, I buy them again.. (laugh)
Hikaru: I feel like buying when I see it
Probably sense of sight. I often buy things on impulse when I see them. I saw a production by an artiste I like in a record store just now and bought it immediately!
Q5. An episode where you recently succumbed to temptation?
Yabu: Lost to the temptation of ramen
I was thinking of running to the gym and so I wore my jersey and went out. Then I saw a ramen shop so I didn’t go to the gym, but ate the ramen and went home.
Hikaru: I want more basses even though I already have them
I did think over it, but I bought another bass! It is the bass version of “the prettiest guitar in the world”. Even though I have many basses already, playing each and every one has a different feeling.
Q6. What kind of date invited by a girl will make you happy?
Yabu: I want to visit many temples in Kyoto
I hope a “girl interested in history” can invite me and visit many temples and shrines. Previously when I went to Kyoto, I only managed to go to Kiyomizudera and Yasaka shrine. I hope to visit Gion too
Hikaru: Visit musical instrument stores with a girl who likes music
I will be happy if she says “let’s go to the music store together ” There are few girls interested in such stores so I welcome those with experience and even those who want to start now!
Q7. Which situation do you long for? One where you are lured to by a girl? Or one where you tempt her?
Yabu: Girls who can work well in their job are cool!
I long to be doted upon by a senior at work who performs really well at work. I want her to lure me on and bring me to eat delicious food (laugh)
Hikaru: I want to be lured on by a senior at work
I don’t have experience in this so I probably want to try. How about an approach starting with the senior pouring coffee for me? (Laugh)
