I watched the new one with my family, sort of by accident, having had no interest before. I loved it (what a surprise!) - I'm not sure quite why I didn't want to see it before.
So now I've downloaded most of the first series, only my internet connection is slow so hoping it will be all here tomorrow, and really looking forward to it. Great TV for a change.
I felt a little lazy about watching it since I'm following like 7 shows at the same time XD Actually, I put the new season of Dexter on my computer and was watching it, but a friend of mine sort of made me change it to Sherlock... and hey, I'm glad!
It IS good, right? I was surprised too! I'm looking forward to the second one tonight :D And then we can all talk about it, since everyone's already seen it XD
Since I have got a bad cold (from my partner who will henceforth be known as Patient Zero) I spent the day lying on the sofa and watching all three episodes of Sherlock Season 1, plus Casablanca.
Epic.
So the day wasn't entirely wasted (I had hoped to write some of my big bang fic as well as finishing something I have to do for work, but there's always tomorrow!).
I do like the relationship between them. Without that, it is nothing. I think Martin Freeman is excellent with his range of reactions and growing exasperations. I much prefer this deadpan approach to the Hollywood version, but I've never been a fan of Robert Downey Junior despite my partner and daughter's admiration.

There's always tomorrow, darling. There's always tomorrow. It's always good to spend a whole day doing nothing!
Hahaha I've actually never been a fan of Jude Law :P I started watching the first movie, but fell asleep... I'll try again this weekend XD
