I think Holmes is just trying to be a friendly roommate, especially after he realizes that he's scared the poop out of Watson with the violin bow thing. In his twisted mind, his whole word vomit is supposed to make Watson feel BETTER about things. Yeahhhh not so much.
I'm so glad that you liked it. I'm very flattered, and I hope that the next chapter will let me finish it soon.

It's the PTSD that caught my eye and it was executed brilliantly. Very poignant and not overdone or campy. It had real some real pain.
The cleaning obsession was a surprising imaginative leap since most of the time Watson's cleanliness is contributed to his army days.
I loved your attention to Watson's leg pain. It put House in mind for me and the very real fact that recovery would have taken a terrible amount of time.
You wrote this very well. I liked it very much. Other than for the reasons above, it was because when i read the line, "...it almost disturbed him to find that he had listed death as a pro. Almost." I actually felt a sharp pain in my heart...literally. My left arm tingled. It happens when i read something that actually made me feel (which usually falls under the purvey of fics from katieforsythe and janeturenne or random_nexusSo yes, i have been successful ( ... )

And dude I love that left arm tingly heart feeling!! I never thought I'd be writing something that made anyone's arm tingle, so I'm pretty psyched.
I guess all that House fic I used to write is finally coming in handy. ;)
And thank you, because this is such a nice and flattering review that I never expected to be getting, so you just made my day. :)

And I love your depiction of Holmes, probably trying to be helpful, in the only way he can think of, and failing, miserably.
I will be really eager to see where this goes...
