Also, Food Network changed their schedule and now my favorite cooking show, Barefoot Contessa, is on at some weird time. She's my hero. Sad.

My brother got to meet him! He saw him give a talk and then they shook hands. Russell said he just introduced himself as "Alton" and therefore insists that they're on a first-name basis now. And since he's Russell's hero, and Russell is thinking about applying to culinary school, more Alton Brown on food network is a good thing!

He is AWESOME! I am somewhat hoping his production company (based in Atlanta) might be hiring sometime. Sometime soon.
