Today was such a good day.

How did it end up all melancholy?

I wish I didn't have a composer's block right now, because I have a feeling I could write some great music right now.

But of course I can't.

I thoroughly apologize for the vague, emo post. I thought I was done writing these for good.

I think life finally deserves an update. I kind of hit a slump after directing The Mice Have Been Drinking Again- which turned out magnificently...I was seriously frightened for a while- and nothing was really worth updating about. I stayed at home for 20 of the most tedious days of my life. It was great seeing the family again and I got to hang ( Read more... )

I haven't updated in forever because directing a play is equivalent to having my head opened up, and my brain whipped around into mashed potatoes.

I'm not dead. I promise. As exhausted as I might be, I'm not quite dead.

I'm really looking forward to The Mystery of Edwin Drood. It's definitely some of the best work I've done in a while, and it's just an all-around fun show. For anyone who hasn't heard of it, it's based on the novel of the same name that Charles Dickens died halfway through ( Read more... )

THIS SEMESTER IS DONE YAY CRASH BANG KAZOOOOO!
Remind me never ever to get in a position where I could potentially be in three shows at once. Good lord, that was a trip. I'm not saying that I regret being in any of those shows, because I don't. Things have been looking up a little bit. I'm still ridiculously behind in my work but slowly, and surely I'll get everything caught-up. Where the sudden optimism is coming from, I have no idea but I'm not complaining now that it's here.
