Banners...Signatures...Whatever You Call Them!

Nov 15, 2007 00:05

I'm so used to working on a 100 x 100 canvas, but that doesn't mean I only make icons.  Here are some larger graphics that I've accumulated over time.  They are also posted at a wonderful forum called C19 (here's a shout-out to those ladies on my friends list!!! ;-) ).

These graphics can be used as signatures at message boards, as well as banners ( Read more... )

pushing daisies, lord of the rings, persuasion 2007, north & south, pride & prejudice 2005, the wizard of oz, shakespeare in love, lady jane, northanger abbey 2007, jane eyre 2006, pirates of the caribbean

Thanks! :) As for Persuasion, during spring 2007 in the UK, there were new television adaptations of Persuasion, Mansfield Park, and Northanger Abbey. I had watched them on YouTube around the time they were shown, but I think that person's account was deleted (though there are still fan videos and other things on YouTube, such as the original trailer for The Jane Austen Season.

In the U.S., all three of these dramas will be shown on PBS in 2008, along with dramas representing other Jane Austen novels (including a new adaptation of Sense and Sensibility). Here's the official PBS website (including a trailer), and here's a schedule.

The new Persuasion stars Sally Hawkins as Anne and Rupert Penry-Jones as Wentworth. Anthony Head plays Sir Walter Elliot.

how very very pretty they all are. I´m snatching the N&S one and will credit. I love your "no photos" icon btw, it´s simply great. That scene is one of my favourites

Thank you! (I'm assuming you're the "anonymous" poster above?) :) That N&S one was one of the first graphics that I made at that size. I usually make icons, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of making larger graphics.

As for the "No photos please" icon, that was for a contest about Richard Armitage's characters and hats. It wasn't a surprise that John Thornton was very popular! ;)
