They skip the obvious places right from the start.
"Show me your city," Loki had said, and Farley gladly obliges as they move from diner to bookstore to park to cinema (they spend the famous contract scene quaking with silent laughter), talking of little things or simply nothing at all.
"It isn't quite so different, is it?" Loki says once they've gone home, nursing a cup of tea.
"Guess not..."
Yet when he pulls the covers around them, and Loki nuzzles close after switching off the lamp, New York feels a bit more like home than it has in months.
