(AN: Aaaaand yet more schmoop. This one's set after a mostly AU version of the movie, but Loki's not out of the woods with most of the Avengers just yet...)
"Well, I don't think anyone will accuse you of favoritism now..." Loki shucked off his chestpiece. "Certainly not Ms. Romanoff..."
He paused midway to the closet. Farley had collapsed in the easy chair, eyes shut and breathing slow, the way Banner taught him.
"...I am sorry."
"I know."
"But what she said-"
"I heard, believe me." And heard. And heard. He was still sick of it, but there it was.
Loki quietly slotted in his armor with the rest, waiting for the inevitable What the Hell.
Nothing.
He sighed. "Couch?"
Farley opened his eyes and grinned. "C'mere, ya big doof."
