Loki doesn’t look shocked, though, pale, bloodied, and dull-eyed. Is he dying? Dammit, I can’t handle this, and even if I could, he’d probably have something weird, like one of his kidneys in his ass or something.
Can’t flinch. Jerk’s had enough people fail him already, not gonna add one more to the list.
“What do you mean?” He says, rasping.
“Other universes.” I smile. “Want to see some?”
Might not work. Probably won’t, now that I’ve said it.
