Loki handled the little flower with his usual dexterity, as petals, leaves, nectar, even the stem was diced up and sorted into its own jar.

He did. Over the next few weeks, dozens of little not-so-fragile bottles (Loki demonstrated with a claw hammer and a few drops of acid) were labeled, filled, and filed away in safe boxes painted with silver runes or stashed in their emergency packs.
“And you’re not worried about all these going bad?”
“I made them to last, Claymore,” Loki said. “Pray that I don’t need them.”
