"So, she's staying here? With you?" Marisa stared over at him, genuinely surprised
"Mm-hm."
"Wow, Tim, you sure you know what you're doing?"
"Honestly?" He chuckled, blushing slightly. "...Not a damn clue."
"Well, at least she's not so young that..." A random thought occurred to her. "Tim?"
"Yeah?"
"How are you going to explain-?"
"You mean... "the Talk"? Do you... really think I should?"
"That wasn't what I meant, but that would make sense, unless you want to see us going at it on the kitchen table..."
"Well-"
"Or have Anya explain it for us...", she continued teasingly.
"...Good point. That said, what were you going to ask?"
"I meant how are you going to explain..."
"Yes?"
"Who you are."
Tim sighed. "That... will probably make "the Talk" a lot harder..."
"Because of Frank?"
"Oh, yes."
"So? Just try to explain that there's more to you than that - and it probably wouldn't hurt to mention that there's more to your career than just him..."
"...Somehow that doesn't make me feel any better..."
"Hm?"
"You know, I can just see her crushing on someone probably worse than Frank..."
The prospect of her having Farley Claymore as her imagined beau, the way things were going, suddenly seemed very unappealing...
