Wanna buy a car?

It's a 1983 Chevy Blazer S10

All emissions-related parts (~$500 worth) were replaced within the last 6 months.
It's got good rear speakers, fair front speakers, & a CD player.
The tires were worth $600 and are 3 years old at most, and I think the warranty is transferrable.
Large storage area in back

Interior is pretty much done for
Paint is oxidized. Looks alright if you keep it waxed. Some paint appears to be rubbed off.
One semi-visible dent above hatch.
It has very little power. You won't win any races.
It has all kinds of (unharmful) rattles and squeaks.

Overall
-------------------------------------

It's a mechanically good car, as far as we can tell. It just isn't the prettiest, or fastest.
It gets surprisingly good gas mileage for an SUV. Probably due to the lack of power.
Basically, it's been a reliable car for the 20 years my parents have had it. It started getting worn out while I was driving it, but we've replaced basically everything that went bad. The transmission was replaced in about '93 or so, but we recently replaced the worn parts on it. The engine is original, but we have no reason to believe it will give out any time soon.
The biggest problem with early S10s is emissions. We definately had this problem, and ended up spending more replacing emissions parts (~$500 parts, ~$200 labor) than the cars total value. That sucks for us, but that means it'll take a miracle to get it to fail smog when it's up in 2 years.

Why sell it if we just spent more than it's worth on it? Well, first of all, we have too many cars. So we're paying more in insurance and registration than we need to be, and we're out of room to park. Second of all, I just spent a crap load of money to get my escort running, and since I have a better car now, it makes sense to sell the old one to pay for the new one.

OK, let me know if you are interested.
